MEET THE COACH

Fitness means different things for different people. For some it is striving for their personal best or reaching for a sport specific outcome. For others, it is simply challenging themselves to do something that is good for them and feel good about themselves, but where to start? Regardless your goal, Cinder Fitness is there to support you, push you, and help you reach your goals.

Having been a trainer and coach for over 20 years, Marc Cinder has lived many paths within the fitness industry. Like most trainers Marc started out as a gym rat, fully content to just going to work and then hitting the gym. Until a work accident caused a back injury.

After physical therapy, Marc understood he had to change his path when it came to his workouts. Suddenly, studies of back injuries and rehabilitative modalities were the new task and knowledge. After strengthening his back, others at the gym began to ask his advice as to how they could maximize their workouts despite a bad back, wrist, knee, etc.. It was then Marc decided what his life course would be. To train clients in an integrated approach. An approach which included strength, cardio, flexibility, all while addressing any muscular imbalances or injuries of the individual. Because in the end, that is who it's all about. The individual.
